The 24 Hour Plays

The 24 Hour Plays brings together creative communities to produce plays and musicals written, rehearsed, and performed all within the span of 24 hours. Past participants in The 24 Hour Plays include TV, film, and theater stars like Jennifer Aniston, Elijah Wood, and Daveed Diggs. I worked in-house to lead a refresh of the company’s visual identity and develop a new website that brought action-packed production photography to the forefront of the company’s marketing.

This branding project originated in 2017, when I worked under a tight timeline in anticipation of The 24 Hour Musicals: Los Angeles. In two weeks, I designed and developed a new company website, migrated the site’s backend from Drupal to Wordpress, authored and implemented new branding guidelines, and created promotional materials for the upcoming musical production. In 2020, I revisited this project to refine the identity further and incorporate motion design elements to complement the company’s urgent, energetic tone.
